The Endanyawish landscape is dry and dusty. The airstrip parallels a short mountain ridge with a small marshy lake close by. The landing is tricky with a sharp turn at the beginning in front of the ridge, and winds that must be taken seriously.

On the 23rd of January 2018 a call came in that there was a woman in labour that needed to be evacuated from the remote Maasai mountain village of Olemilei.
The July outreach to Dabia, Tanzania was particularly memorable for MAF pilot Jarkko Korhonen. While the medical team were doing their routine baby and prenatal clinic work, an Anglican pastor baptised six children.
