OUR BOARD
Stanley Arumugam
Stanley joined the MAF SA board in May 2017 and currently sits as the Chairman. He has had over 25 years of experience in different sectors, especially in the Human Resources and Organisational Development space. He has also had experience with senior management at Director levels and Board membership. Stanley’s current role involved him being the Head of governance and Leadership, with a passion for forming partnerships and spreading the gospel through Christ-centred missions.
Paul Henning
Paul joined the MAF SA board in May of 2019. He is an experienced pilot – having worked with MCC Aviation and currently flying for SA Airlink. He has travelled to many countries within Africa and his exposure to wildlife has led him to extensive involvement with Natural History Film companies such as BBC Natural History, National Geographic and Animal Planet as a research consultant and ultimately a freelance Director of Photography for documentaries. On top of this, he has also had experience working as a Part-Time Youth Pastor. Being on the board for MAF SA has combined many of his passions, like aviation, Africa, missions and the Kingdom.
Emile Raubenheimer
Emile has been on the MAF SA board since October 2014. With a background in philosophy, his search for truth has led him to be called into living out an obedient life to our Father. He has been involved in multiple outreaches and has completed a few Spiritual and Theological courses. He has felt called to be a servant of God, not in full-time ministry, but in the marketplace as he generates finances for the kingdom work.
Thembisa Bekwa
Thembisa joined the MAF SA board in November 2019. She is a seasoned Human Resource (HR) practitioner with over 25 years’ experience, a consultant, coach and a mentor. For 20 years she has worked in the not- for- profit sector at national and international level where she embraced the experience of working within multi-cultural and diverse teams in countries across continents. Having worked with MAFSA supporting the restructure project, she was drawn to the work. She believes that respect, sharing love and caring for one another can build stronger and united communities.
