Through a series of God’s interventions, Mark was able to do his PPL in 1996, his commercial license in 2000, and they joined MAF in 2001. Mark has worked as an MAF Instructor, he has flown in several bases around the world and since 2015, he has flown as a member of the MAF International Disaster Response Team. After 14 years of flying on seven different programmes and in fifteen different African countries, for Mark it’s still about the impact MAF can have as it serves those who are in remote locations, and who would not otherwise be easily reached.

After serving 18 months in Uganda, the Liprini’s moved across to MAF Tanzania in 2022, with Mark fulfilling the dual role of Chief pilot and Operations Director. They are loving serving the people of Tanzania in a very direct, hands-on role.
