At MAF SA we recruit missionary pilots, programme managers, finance managers, engineers and many more positions and place them in programmes around the world.
We have four families serving across Papua New Guinea, Tanzania and one family as part of the Disaster Response team serving in many countries.
If you wish to sponsor one of our missionaries as they work in remote foreign countries to spread the gospel and uplift people physically, click on the sponsor button, or alternatively call us on 011 6592880 or email as at email@example.com
Bush pilots experience a very different life to those of commercial pilots. Security, check-in and boarding are managed and conducted by the pilot. Weather permitting, they take off from a dirt airstrip but landing on one is never a guarantee. They might approach an overgrown and unkept strip of land, or rain might have soaked the sand into a muddy stream. Once on land, they don’t usually settle into their destination to rest, they don a new hat and get stuck into serving the people they have flown to; and of course, their aircraft, parked in a hangar, might just be intruded by wild animals.
